Underwater Photogrammetry…on the radio

Yes, you read the title correctly! Word of what Deep3D was up to in Scapa Flow this November reached the editors at BBC Orkney. Intrigued to know more, they sent along a reporter and recorded a short interview with Simon. The interview begins at 12 minutes 50 into the broadcast:-

The BBC also wanted a photograph of the kit used, so Helen Hadley of the dive boat Valkyrie kindly captured the moment as Simon prepared to enter the water. The scooter came from Deep Ideas – but more of how that bit of kit helped out will be covered in a future post.
